Base on Dollface Cosmetics Tutorial
about the 20 pc. Corrective Concealer:
Not a lot of people know how to color correct,
usually with most woman do, is they pack on a lot of Concealer and
it comes off really cakey, so that is not the right way to do it.
The right way to do it is Color Correcting
*How Do We Cover Up Under Eye Circles?
- well, if you refer to the Color Wheel our under eye circles are usually
Blue Violet, so want to take its complementary color the color which
is across it, to counteract this bruising dark circles, and to take Yellow Orange is use for concealing under eye circles.
*How Do We Conceal or Cover Up Redness such as Acne Blemishes?
- Red is complementary to Green so therefore it counteracts Redness
How about for Pale Complexion and Bruises?
- Purple Violet concealer is for counteracting shallow or yellowish
complexion.
- Yellow is a well as for counteracting with Bruises.
*How Do We Apply 20 pc Corrective Concealer Palette?
So with the Palette you have 2 pc Free sponge applicators, but i don't reccomend to use it. Because its not the best brush to use for concealing.
But anyway with concealing, you don't want to directly pack on your blemishes, what you wanna do is take a Spatula (which you could also buy it at Dollface cosmetics)
but you can always improvised and use a Popsicle Stick instead
if you want to kinda save more and spend less.
1st. take a bit of Orange,..just really really small, really small and put it in your mixing plate, but if you don't have a mixing plate, the other end of your palette will do, just swipe it clean with Alcohol and it should be more or less Bacteria free, okay so put it in your mixing plate and if you can see its very small amount that we will need, and you don't need a lot,
2nd. mix it with your color or skin tone take a bit and put it in the same
mixing plate beside the first color we get,
3rd. and now you have 2 colors, your skin tone color concealer and the
orange corrective one, and then combine and mix the two with your Stippling Brush or any of your Concealer Brush you have, and after mixing it, slightly apply it on the problem areas, and just use a slight feathery strokes, you can stipple it, you don't want to get a lot of product and applying a lot of concealer under your eyes, cause it will not look Natural , it will cake, so just stipple it and apply in a light feathery stroke,.
Lastly. on what is left to the Stippling Brush that you use to apply the concealer, you can also apply it to the other areas you also might want to conceal like around the outer edges of the nostrils, and your upper lip, for some woman have mustache or a bit of hair around the upper lips, and you can also put the concealer around the darker areas of the outer lips.
Like:
* Its very Creamy
*Its quick and easy to BLEND
*You just need a little concealer,bcOz a small
amount of it can go along way, its like concentrated,hehehe,...=)
*Doesn't oil up.
*When applied, it doen't feel heavy at all,
*The Palette is very ideal for freelance work or going
somewhere, without giving
you a hard time carrying it around or so, bcOz its just vEry handy.
*You can do a nEver ending things with it, it has so many
different shades that can really do its work, its work is to
conceal whatever you want to conceal,,.bcOz good thing
about it, you can mix and match.
Tips and Tricks:
*Cream is highly susceptible to bacteria growth more than any other type of makeup,
so do not pat your brushes directly into the pan, instead prepare a
mixing plate or the other end of your concealer palette will do, just wipe it
with an Alcohol to make sure its more or less bacteria free, and get a little amount of concealer into the pan with a Spatula or a Popsicle Stick just enough for the application or enough for your needs.
*always bare in mind to be cautious in terms of hygiene,
if your planning to use the concealers for other people, use a Concealer Brush,
or a Sponge, do not use your fingers directly
after applying the concealer directly from the brush, warm it gently with your hands to blend it well onto the skin, and always set the concealer with face powder.
*Never store in a warm place or else the concealer will melt easily, and always store it in a cool dry place.
